The occupancy and use of a workspace changes throughout the day and says a lot about our organization. What type of use uses more m2? Is the desk occupation efficient? Are we taking profit from the meeting spaces? Do flexible and informal meeting spaces facilitate rest and interrelation? Does the layout of the space create hierarchy?

Through the Collaborative Transformation of Workspaces service (TCET), Raons wants to promote the creation of environments that foster new ways of working based on the well-being of people, innovation and efficiency. We believe that workspaces should make it easy for things to flow.

For this reason, we provide to organizations an exhaustive and strategic space analysis methodology with the participation of all the people who work in it, in order to:

• Increase well-being and commitment, improving the work environment, personal development and balance between personal and professional life.
• Increase economic results and talent retention, improving processes, adding value and reducing absenteeism.
• Adapt services to demand, increasing the generation of innovative ideas and the degree of digitization, based on permanent improvement.
• Reducing costs and the ecological footprint, adapting the m2 and types of spaces to the needs and optimizing teleworking.

TCET is an interdisciplinary accompaniment service that is designed to give organizations a comprehensive view of what they need to change in the organizational, spatial and relational spheres, offering the appropriate tools to be able to make these changes.

Using specific softwares for spatial analysis, we study the use of workspaces and the relationships between people, performing a cross-sectional analysis of the data together with the information collected from other participation tools. The result of this analysis is the basis for the defining recommendations and strategies to follow in the collaborative design process, promoting the creation of innovative, efficient and healthy workspaces, in the physical, social and emotional spheres at the same time.

With the support of the Barcelona City Council and together with the cooperatives Bruna and L’Apòstrof, we have developed some promotional material to continue boosting this service, which we are convinced can help to transform organizations into what they want to be.
